This significant city centre building, formerly occupied by BHS, lay vacant for six years before Alterity’s intervention – the building has now been completely transformed into The Keep, a major new retail and leisure destination in the heart of Belfast.
Over a 12-month period, the property underwent extensive redevelopment, including significant structural alterations, new façades, and full roof replacements. The result is a modern, 70,000 sq ft scheme arranged across three floors, designed to bring new energy and opportunity to the city centre.
The Keep is home to a standout line-up of international retail brand, namely:
• H&M - relocation and up-size from previous store
• Deichmann - First store in Ireland
• Apple - relocation and up-size from previous store - notably this is the only Apple store in Ireland
The extensive upper floor leisure space is occupied by King Pins, family indoor entertainment provider, and is their first representation in Ireland.
